Date/Time Stamping

10. How does date/time stamping work?

By default, date/time stamping is turned off (disabled). When enabled, an ascii date/time stamp is triggered whenever a character is received after a given "trigger" character.
This means if your trigger is line feed, Chr$(10), which is common for ASCII files, the SDR will insert a time stamp between the received line feed and the next byte, but the time stamp will reflect the time the next byte is received. This trigger character can be changed using the DataBridge configuration menu, but the timestamp format currently is "hard-coded" to YY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS.
